For the N30 series cylindrical roller bearings, the ribs are set on the inner ring, and the outer ring can be separated: while for NNU49 series cylindrical roller bearings, the ribs are set on the outer ring, and the inner ring can be separated. For double row cylindrical roller bearings, when lubricated with oil, a ring-shaped oil groove and three oil holes with symmetrical distribution are arranged in the middle of the outer ring of the bearing, marked as W33.

Double row cylindrical roller bearings have two types of bearing holes: cylindrical bore, tapered bore. Since cylindrical roller bearings with tapered bores are easy to adjust radial installation clearance after installation, the most commonly used cylindrical roller bearings in machine tools are double row cylindrical roller bearings with tapered bores. This kind of bearing can only bear large radial load, and inner and outer ring can be separated, so it is often used in combination with bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearing which can bear axial load.
