How to install the slewing bearing?

The slewing bearing is a large-scale bearing with a special structure, which can simultaneously bear large axial load, radial load and overturning moment and other comprehensive loads.

Slewing ring bearings have the characteristics of compact structure, easy to guide rotation, easy installation and easy maintenance. They are widely used in large rotating devices in construction machinery, mining machinery, wind power generation, ships, ports, petroleum, chemical, light industry, medical equipment, vehicles, robots and other industries. As a professional slewing bearing manufacturer, today we mainly talk about the installation process of slewing bearings.

Place the inner ring and outer ring correctly

First put the outer ring flat on the workbench, put in the lower half of the ring and try to make the outer ring raceway correspond to the inner ring raceway. Place the rollers and spacers correctly. Place the optional cylindrical rollers and circular spacers along the raceway. When the adjacent cylindrical rollers are placed, their axes are perpendicular to each other, and the two rollers are separated by a spacer.

Apply grease

Apply appropriate grease to the raceway evenly to fill the gap between the roller and the spacer. The number of rollers and spacers is generally equal, and the cylindrical rollers and spacers should be close to each other. If there is a gap between the roller and the spacer, the thickness of one or two spacers can be adjusted to compensate for the gap.

Mounting bolts

Tighten the two assembly bolts opposite in the diameter direction by 1-2 turns, while rotating the other integral ferrule to prevent the roller from being stuck in an improper position. Then screw the two symmetrical studs 180 apart, until all the bolts are tightened to the specified torque value. When tightening the bolts, make sure that the adjusting piece is in good position and use a force measuring wrench to make the bolts obtain the specified pre-tightening torque.
