According to different friction properties, bearings can be divided into sliding bearings and rolling bearings. Sliding bearings have a variety of classification methods according to the direction of load, the type of lubricant, the nature of the lubricant film, the structure of the bearing bush, the material of the bearing bush, etc.. Among them, according to the different types of lubricants used in sliding bearings, they can be divided into oil-lubricated bearings, grease-lubricated bearings, water-lubricated bearings, gas-lubricated bearings, solid-lubricated bearings, magnetic fluid bearings and electromagnetic bearings.

The so-called oil-free bearings generally refer to sliding bearings, which belong to the category of sliding bearings. If oil-free bearings are defined by whether the lubricant has oil, water lubrication, air lubrication, electromagnetics can also be included in oil-free bearings. Today we just introduce this type of bearings that use self-lubricating materials or oil-containing materials, which are made by a special process and do not need to add lubricants during work. It mainly refers to inlaid solid lubricating bearings and self-lubricating bearings.

1. Inlaid solid lubricating bearings

Take the JDB series inlaid solid lubricating bearing as an example, it takes metal material as the base, and holes in the base (brass, tin bronze, aluminum bronze, cast iron, GCr15 and other alloy materials) are arranged in an orderly and appropriate size , and then embed oily graphite, PTFE, molybdenum disulfide particles as solid lubricating material. When the bearing works under oil-free lubrication conditions, due to the effect of frictional heat, the solid lubricating material will gradually be transferred to the working surface of the friction pair, thereby reducing the friction factor.

Inlaid solid lubricating bearings are widely used in light industry, heavy industry, construction, metallurgy, transportation and other mechanical equipments, such as: continuous casting machine, rolling mill, injection molding machine, paper machine, mold guide column, ship, machine tool, etc.

2. Self-lubricating bearings

Self-lubricating bearings are made of self-lubricating materials or oil-containing materials through a special process. Self-lubricating bearings are widely used in sliding parts of various machinery, such as printing machines, textile machines, tobacco machinery, micro-motors, automobiles, motorcycles and agricultural and agricultural machinery.
