On January 11, 2024, the 2023 "Wind Power Leaders" Technology Innovation Forum hosted by China Wind Power News Network and Wind Power Think Tank was grandly held in Beijing. The 18MW wind power main bearing independently developed by Luoyang Bearing Science and Technology Co., Ltd. won the Best Parts Product Award.


The successful research and development of the 18MW wind power main bearing has set a new record for the largest single machine capacity of domestic wind power main bearings in China.

During the research and development process, ZYS R&D team mastered the forward design and precision machining technology of high-power wind turbine bearings, systematically carried out contact fatigue life experiments of materials, built a simulation model of the full transmission chain, optimized matching of bearing contact angle, rolling element size and cage structure through simulation calculation and analysis, and the final design solution can meet the long life of more than 25 years and high reliability requirements of the main bearing.

At the forum, Fan Yuqing, general manager of Luoxian Research Institute, was invited to deliver a speech titled "Research on High Reliability Technology of Wind Power Main Bearings and Gearbox Bearings", and shared ZYS technological innovation in the wind power field, from the analysis of bearing failure cases, high-density structure optimization design, material research and intelligence Detection.


Winning this award fully reflects the company's technological innovation capabilities in the field of wind power main bearings and the industry's high recognition of ZYS technology and product strength. At present, ZYS has achieved batch delivery of 5-10MW wind power main bearings. Through production capacity construction, ZYS has an annual production capacity of 3,000 sets of wind power main bearings.

In the next step, ZYS will continue to promote the research and development and industrialization process of wind power main bearings and gearbox bearings to help achieve the "dual carbon" goal.
