October 14, 2025, is the 56th World Standards Day. On October 10, the 2025 Henan Province First Standardization Knowledge Competition, hosted by the Henan Provincial Market Supervision Administration and organized by the Henan Provincial Institute of Standardization and Quality, was successfully held at Henan Radio and Television Station. A total of 31 teams from provincial units and 18 cities across the province participated in this standardization knowledge competition. After three rounds of competition, including preliminary, semi-final, and final, the Luoyang team won second prize. Li Jincheng from the Standard Studio of the Technical Center of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. (ZYS) participated in the competition as the main player of the Luoyang team.

The Luoyang Market Supervision and Administration Bureau selected ZYS employees as the main contestants, which is an affirmation of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd.'s long-term standardization work.

As the responsible unit for the secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Rolling Bearing Standardization and the domestic technical counterpart of ISO/TC4 "International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee for Rolling Bearings", Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. attaches great importance to standardization work. In the past five years, ZYS has taken the lead in formulating and revising 5 international standards (3 of which have been officially released), 27 national standards and 6 industry standards. At the end of 2021, it took on the secretariats of the two sub-technical committees ISO/TC4/SC6 " Insert Bearing Units" and SC11 "Linear Motion Rolling Bearings" on behalf of my country, and successfully hosted the ISO/TC4 annual meeting in May 2025, further enhancing my country's international influence in the bearing field.

In addition, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. closely combines standardization work with its own high-quality development, organizes regular standard promotion and technical lectures, etc., strives to build a team of standardization experts, and creates a strong atmosphere of " learning standards, applying standards, and promoting standards."

Looking into the future, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. will actively implement the important instructions of the Party and the State on standardization work, implement the "National Standardization Development Outline", work together with the bearing industry to increase the efforts in formulating and revising standards in key areas, continuously optimize the standard system, and improve the internationalization level of standards, and strive to make greater contributions to the high-quality and sustainable development of my country's bearing industry!
