Recently, the 7MW offshore wind power main shaft bearing developed by Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. successfully completed the installation and commissioning in Yangjiang Base.

As the core component of the wind turbine, the 7MW offshore wind power main shaft bearing has complex and changeable loads, high bearing reliability and accuracy requirements, and a design life of more than 25 years. Due to the high technical difficulty of the bearing, it has been monopolized by foreign bearing companies for a long time.

In order to meet the strict requirements of working conditions, ZYS technical team has overcome a number of technical difficulties through scientific selection of materials, simulation design, optimized manufacturing technology, special design and processing of cages, and successfully developed a 7MW offshore wind power main shaft bearing. The main shaft bearing adopts two sets of tapered roller bearing arrangements with an outer diameter of 3100mm. It is the domestically processed wind power main shaft bearing with the largest size and highest precision. The successful development of this bearing not only fills the gap in domestic high-power wind turbine main shaft bearings, but also breaks the long-term monopoly of foreign bearing companies on the wind power main shaft bearing market.

Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. will be committed to providing high-quality, high-reliability bearing products, bearing solutions and professional bearing technical services, and strive to become the best bearing service provider in the field of wind power.
